Ok. Here are the basics. A golf club has three parts - the head, the shaft and the grip. A standard set of golf clubs consists of three woods (the Driver, #3, and #5 fairway woods), eight irons (#3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, and PW), and a putter - that's twelve clubs in all. According to the rules of golf, and we should all play by the rules, you can carry fourteen clubs in your bag, so many golfers add a specialty wood or another iron.

Now, let's have a look at the different types of clubs.

Drivers & Fairway woods

These clubs are used to hit longer shots. That's a basic yet apt way to look at it. If a golf hole is a par four or five from tee to green, most golfers would choose to use a wood.

The driver, or the 1 Wood, has the lowest loft of any golf club. Loft is the angle of the club face that controls trajectory and affects distance. A driver has a loft between 7 and 12 degrees. Better golfers have traditionally favored drivers with less than 10 degrees of loft, which require a lot more skill to hit.

Most golfers also carry a #3 and #5 fairway wood as part of their arsenal. A #3 wood has a loft of 15 degrees, and a #5 wood has a loft of 18 degrees. The higher the golf club number, the higher the loft. The #3 and #5 wood are commonly referred to as fairway woods, because they are most often used during the second shot of play, when you are supposed to be on the fairway.

Hybrids

Hybrids are a recent innovation to golf. A hybrid is a combination of an iron and a wood and is an easier to hit alternative to a long iron. Hybrids are versatile enough to be used in any situation. Hybrids come in a range of four lofts - 16 (#2), 19 (#3), 22 (#4) and 25 (#5) Degrees. Hybrids replace their equivalent number long iron, e.g. a #3 hybrid will replace a #3 iron and a #2 hybrid can be used to replace a #5 fairway wood.

Irons

Irons are generally used for shorter distances and more control than drivers and fairway woods. The closer you are to the green, the higher the iron you will use. A standard set of irons consists of #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8 and #9 and the PITCHING WEDGE (PW). A sandwedge is generally a good option to purchase for shots out of sand traps. The #3 and #4 irons are harder to hit than the higher numbered irons. Many golfers choose to replace the #3 and #4 iron with higher lofted woods or hybrids which are easier to hit than traditional long irons, resulting in comparable distances.

Wedges

Wedges are really just specialty irons. The first wedge is the Pitching Wedge (PW), which is usually between 52 and 56 degrees in loft. The PW is the highest lofted iron in a standard set and lowest loft of the wedges. Lob wedges range from 58 to 64 degrees and are used for close range short and high shots to overcome obstacles close to the green. Wedges are extremely useful for your short game and it is beneficial to keep a selection of them in your bag.

Sand Wedges are another type of wedge and are designed to get you out of the dreaded sand traps. They have a shorter shaft and a more angled face to get under the ball in order to exit a bunker.

Putters

As the adage goes "Drive for show, Putt for dough". The putter usually gets you in the hole, so it can be assumed, that choosing the right putter is critical to your game. Putters come in various styles and types.: short, belly, long, bent, center-hosel, heel-toe, mallet, and so on. When choosing a putter the main things to consider are the: weighting, balance and feel. Better putters provide alignment aids to help you visualize the line from your ball to the target.

Golf clubs could be quite an expensive investment. However, aside from its cost, you also want to make sure that when you play, you are using your golf clubs that are in great condition to deliver your best game. This is why if you would be traveling with your golf clubs, it is imperative that they are protected from any damage caused by banging or rough handling. Here are a few tips to remember when you are traveling with your golf clubs.

Pack your golf clubs in a golf travel case or bag so that they will be protected. These are available from any golf store and you will surely find one that would fit your taste and budget. The two types of the golf travel cases available are hard shell and soft shell. If you would be traveling by air, it is more advisable to use the hard shell. Most airlines are willing to cover any damages if your golf clubs have been packed in a hard case first. However, you would still need to inquire about this with your airline company.

Hard shell cases are able to offer protection from demanding environments. Most of these are made with heavy molded plastic, which will help in protecting your clubs from hard throws, drops or any severe banging. The hard cases could cost a bit more than the soft cases, but the protection you would be giving your clubs would prove to be a worthwhile investment.

The soft shell cases could also be a good alternative, as long as you will be packing your clubs well. Although the level of protection your clubs will be getting would not be the same as with the hard cases, you could still ensure that they will end up with no damages by packing carefully. This would also work better if you will be traveling by car.

By packing your clubs carefully and placing them in a golf travel case, you would certainly be able to keep all your golf clubs safe from any damage that could be caused by elements or rough handling even when you travel.

You enter a golf store and are overwhelmed with all the irons, woods, putters and wedges that you see along with the golf balls, clothing and other golf accessories. If you are just starting to play golf, the task of selecting the golf clubs that would work for you could be a bit challenging.

First, you would need to know what a set of clubs is made up of. There are four main types of golf clubs: the Woods, the Irons, the Wedges and the Putter. Today, you may also come across hybrid clubs. A hybrid club is a cross of a wood and an iron. People who are having a hard time hitting their long irons, like a 2 or 3 iron, prefer to use these clubs. You are allowed to have up to 14 clubs and could be in any combination. An example of a good combination for your golf clubs would be one driver, one 4 wood, 3 through 9 iron, a lob wedge, a gap wedge, a sand wedge, a pitching wedge and one putter. However, the combination would entirely be up to you or the golfer as different combinations work for different people.

You then need to know your available options as you buy your golf clubs. You can either buy used or new. Although you would definitely save more if you choose to buy used golf clubs, you may encounter some issues like cracked shafts, worn grips and other problems that a new set would surely not have. If you are buying your first set, it usually makes more sense to buy new ones.

After deciding on buying a new or old set, you now have to decide if you will be getting a complete set or will just buy individual clubs by your own to make one set. Putting together your own set would be a bit more expensive compared to just buying a set of clubs that is already complete. Purchasing a complete set also saves you the hassle and the time in making decisions.

If you are a beginner, it is recommended to buy the complete starter set, which includes one driver, a 3 wood, a 5 wood, the 3 through 9 irons, one pitching wedge and your putter. This could also include one sand wedge and a bag for your golf clubs. Although this set only has 11 or 12 clubs, as your game progresses, you could decide for yourself on which club to add to your set. You could eventually add a 2 iron, another wedge or a hybrid club.

Keep in mind that getting expensive golf clubs will not improve your game or help you play better. You should not spend $300 on just one driver if you could spend a lot less to get everything you need in one package. Getting a complete set would be the best option to save you money that would later on need for replacing lost golf balls.

Ping Golf Bags for You

Whether you are a professional or a first-time golfer, you should consider investing in a Ping golf bag. Ping has been on the market for a long time, and their products have continued to impress professional and amateur golfers around the world. The stylish and innovative designs of their golf bags deliver extreme functionality and convenience for golfers who trust only the number one manufacturer of golfing equipment.

If you are planning to buy a golf bag that can keep your golfing equipment safe, you should research more about what kinds of golf bags carry the Ping name. Once you have selected the right bag for your golfing equipment, you will immediately be satisfied with the functionality and stylishness of the appropriate Ping golf bag you were able to choose.

Here are some of the best features offered by different models of Ping golf bags on the market.

Hoofer C-1 bags
Golfers from different walks of life immediately fall in love with the chic design and remarkable functionality of Hoofer C-1 bags. Made from nylon material, these bags are easy to take care of and maintain. The impressive design of a Ping hoofer bag makes it easier for golfers to remove their clubs from inside it. It has six reconfigured pockets that make it look more stylish and much easier to use.
A Hoofer C-1 Ping golf bag contains individual dividers and a five-way top, which provides golfers with additional storage options. It has a retractable primary strap that makes it easier to carry around during long travels to golf courses and its accessible water bottle pouch is also an added bonus to any person who wants to have convenient access to their drinking bottles.

Moonlite II golf bags
Every golfer needs a Sunday style golf bag. If you do not have a lightweight bag that you could easily carry around every time your friends invites you to a mini-golf tournament, a Moonlite II golf bag would be perfect for your use.
This golf bag weighs less than two pounds, making it a popular alternative to traditional standing golf bags. This Ping golf bag also has a hinged internal stay that allows a golfer to fold it in half for easier storage. It is also easier to reach when it is standing on the ground, so there would be no need to bend over every time you need to take your clubs out from it.

Latitude V2 golf bags
If you are looking for a full-featured carry bag, you should consider purchasing a Latitude V2 Ping golf bag. Its internal frame contains six individual dividers that can help you organize your clubs easier. You can also tighten its bag body every time you want to ensure club separation. It even includes seven pockets with water-resistant pockets for your electronic gadgets and range finder.

Golf bags are essential for carrying around all the things you need as you play golf. These would be your golf clubs, golf balls, tees, markers, towels and umbrellas.

Although they do not directly affect the result of your game, they could influence your attitude as you play, as golf bags offer you a lot of comfort and convenience as you go through the course.

Here are some types of golf bags.

1. Staff bags

Staff bags would be the largest kind of golf bags. A good staff bag would be made of leather or other durable and high quality materials and are usually a bit more expensive. They are able to contain all of your golf clubs, and still have a lot of pockets to hold other things and equipment that you wish to bring along as you go through the course.

Most professional golfers prefer to use the staff bag as they are able to hold the most equipment. They need not worry about lugging it around since they usually have their caddy to help them out with that.

2. Cart Bags

These bags are relatively smaller than staff bags but are bulkier and harder to carry around. Cart bags are designed to be transported in golf carts but have less pockets and less room for storage.

3. Carry Bags

These are the smallest of the golf bags, which are usually made from nylon, plastic or other light materials. They are constructed to contain the essentials like golf clubs, a couple of balls and small golf accessories. They are perfect for those golfers who prefer to carry their own bags.

When choosing the most suitable golf bag for you, you would need to consider the features that you need and your budget. It is not necessary to buy the most expensive bag available, as they do not directly affect the way you play, unlike your clubs, balls and golf shoes. You should carefully assess if the bag you are planning to buy has all the features that will suit your needs, while still being reasonably priced.

Being able to choose the right golf ball could be just what you need to turn an awful game to a wonderful one. However, it does not mean that you should just trot out and buy the golf ball that Tiger Woods uses to instantly turn you into a world champion. You would still need to choose the golf ball that would work for you.

The three different types of golf balls are: two-piece balls, three-piece balls and high performance balls.

If you wish to improve the distance shots you are making, you would need to use the two-piece golf ball. If you wish to improve your accuracy, then you might opt to use a three-piece golf ball or a high performance golf ball.

For beginners, two-piece golf balls would be more advisable as they are cheaper compared to the other golf balls. Also, two-piece golf balls would be great for those who are slow swingers since these balls have a larger rubber core, which would assure a faster speed.

For golfers whose accuracy is inconsistent, two-piece golf balls would also be the better choice, because three-piece golf balls just would not do if you would be making a couple of inaccurate hits in a game. Also, if you are still working on your precision, high performance balls would not be the best way to go as these balls would be more suitable for the professional golfers who have already mastered their games.

Golf balls are definitely something that you would need to give importance to as you learn more in golf and as you work on your skills to become better st your game. Being equipped with the right type of golf balls that would work to your advantage would definitely improve your score and eventually help you move on to the more competitive playing field.

This is the same swing method Tiger Woods has been talking about converting to due to the stress of his heavy tourqing. This is also the same swing that Ana Sorenstam has been using for the last few years. Yes, rotating the head with the turn of the right shoulder along with a passive grip as well as a loaded left side (irons and fairway woods) is what Ron del Barrios Passive golf swing is all about.

To say it has been a bad few months for Tiger Woods would be a slight understatement. As bad a beating as he has taken from the media and sponsors, the subsidiary impact of his mess is about to really hit hard with another group – the PGA.

The PGA Tour kicked off on January 4, 2010 with the SBS Championship in Kapalua, Hawaii. What you didn’t hear about it? Exactly. By the way, Geoff Ogilvy one the tournament for the second straight year at 22 under. Regardless, the victory didn’t get much coverage except on golf outlets because a certain individual was not there. This wasn’t particularly troubling since he rarely plays the tournament. As the weeks pass, however, this is going to become a bigger problem.

Catch a Tiger by its tale…and watch the PGA weep! This pretty much sums up the situation. Tiger has a bushel of personal problems and nobody knows when he will be returning to the tour. Until then, the PGA is going to have some serious problems. Statistics have shown that television viewership drops roughly 50 percent when Woods does not play. That is a huge issue for tournaments already facing issues in a tough economy.

Take the San Diego Open at Torrey Pines in the last week of January. This is a tournament Tiger traditionally has always played at. All indications are that he will not this year. Torrey Pines is a tremendous golf course, but the promoters are having serious issues finding a major sponsor for the tournament. The tournament was once known as the Buick Open, a Tiger sponsor, but that has all gone by the wayside. With a smaller television audience sans Woods, it is simply proving to be difficult to attract sponsors per radio reports out here in San Diego. The tournament appears as though it will go on with a group of secondary sponsors, but this is a sign of things to come with future PGA events.

Any way you slice it, the PGA is in for a brutal year. A combination of a Tiger gone missing with a sour economic environment is a toxic mix. The PGA will survive, but a drop in win purses may have players realizing how important Tiger is to the tour.

Golfers of all ability levels will often say they take pleasure in hitting a round early in the morning, before going out to the office or starting their leisurely weekends. Simultaneously, some of the greatest golf courses are in cold weather regions where it’s imperative to bundle up while playing on the course. When the greens are still moist and the air is crisp, golfers can stay focused and play their best rounds. In order to play their best, golfers have to be prepared with appropriate attire to stay warm while they play. Here are five ways to stay warm on the course.

If the early morning golf game is forecasted to be exceptionally windy, put on layers of clothing to avoid the cold. Thermal shirts are appropriate and keep the body temperate and comfortable. Thermal underwear can also be worn when playing a game with windy conditions. These are affordable and can be layered under any outfit.

One of the most straightforward ways to stay warm is to keep hands and fingers snug with golf gloves. Look for styles that are made of high quality components to endure all types of weather and also feature leather grips to improve golf swings. Some popular retailers include Wilson, Nike and Adidas.

Feet should be another concern when trying to keep warm. Search for extreme sports socks that retain the heat and insulate while providing the best possible comfort to the foot and heel.

While some golfers feel more at ease in a skirt or shorts, ladies golf pants are more fitting when playing in colder weather. Look for pants that are made of fleece, thick cotton or windbreaker materials to stay warm.

Golf jackets are another important piece of clothing to have while playing early morning golf. Shop for jackets to throw on during the game or look for more fashion forward designs to add some character to the game. Tracey Lynn Golf is a popular women’s clothing designer that keeps function and fashion in the forefront. Her jackets are constructed with wicking fabrics and UV protection, making jackets extremely comfortable and easy to take care of.

One of the things that I have really come to enjoy over the years is playing a round of golf while walking. Sure it is much more convenient and easier to use a golf cart, but if you have never walked a round of golf, I encourage you to give it a try.

I have lived and played most of my golf in the deep South. This makes it a bit of a challenge to walk a round of golf due to the heat and humidity. During July and August the heat and humidity can make playing at all a challenge. Sometimes the best you can do is to tee off early in the morning and finish you round before it just becomes unbearably hot.

For this reason, I played golf for several years as an adult before I walked my first round. I have always stayed in good shape and didn’t feel guilty using a cart since I knew I was getting my exercise elsewhere. Then one summer evening a friend asked me to play nine holes after work and he almost always walked when he played. I had an old pull cart in my garage storage closet, so I decided “What the heck, it can’t hurt me”. And I gave it a try.

Since it was evening, even though it was summer, the heat wasn’t too bad. It was hot, but not totally miserable. Once I adjusted to that and put it out of my mind, I really began to enjoy this particular round of golf. And several of the things had nothing to do with golf.

One of the things that was very enjoyable was the conversation. When you are walking between shots instead of riding a cart, you have a little more time to relax and talk. Talk about anything, golf, life, family etc. It really wasn’t a huge amount of time, but it felt so more relaxing than rushing up to your golf ball in a cart and jumping out to take your next shot.

Another thing that I enjoyed was that I really seemed to pay more attention to the beauty around me on the golf course and surrounding the course. Again, there really wasn’t necessarily a logical reason why I should have seen and enjoyed the surrounding landscape more, but walking seemed to relax me and I just seemed, for some reason, more in tune with my surroundings.

Now besides just enjoying the non golf setting more, there were some definite benefits to my golf game from walking. I actually seemed to play better overall golf, both physically and mentally. One thing that I noticed was that I was definitely more relaxed when I approached each shot. I can’t attribute it to any one thing; I just noticed that as I came up to look at my lie and to think about what my next shot should be, I just felt more relaxed. And definitely I have found that better golf shots come from being relaxed.

I have walked many times since that first round of golf and I always enjoy it. I play better golf and I always seem to ask myself the same question, “Why don’t I walk on every round of golf?”

In the 1850 novel The Scarlet Letter, author Nathaniel Hawthorne takes the reader on an emotional roller coaster with a moral-laden saga. The setting takes place in the 17th-century Puritan settlement of Boston. Carrying her infant Pearl, Hester Prynne bears a scarlet letter “A” on her breast as a punishment for her apparent adultery. Despite the public humiliation, Hester never reveals her accomplice, Rev. Arthur Dimmesdale. Therefore, she receives the wrath of her community. Surprisingly, Rev. Dimmesdale sits quietly by as Hester bears all of the public shame.

Tiger Woods may feel like he’s bearing his own scarlet letter. Yet, Elin Nordegren, Tiger’s wife, endures an apparent burden; she carries the public humiliation of her husband’s infidelity. Many people speculate that the beautiful supermodel will stand by her man due to the millions of dollars at stake. Others argue that Elin will leave Tiger. Unfortunately, this situation plays out like another celebrity circus. Witnessing a public humiliation isn’t pleasant. It is easy to speculate as we watch the unraveling of one’s life. Some people can remember, growing up, the cruelty of youthful jokes in public at someone else’s expense. This article examines how to deal with public humiliation in order to move forward.

The Circumstance

Life is more than a game. Tiger may be the greatest golfer is history. However, Tiger’s own imperfection has damaged his public persona. On November 25th, the National Enquirer published a story alleging Tiger Wood’s infidelity. On November 27th, Tiger crashed his Cadillac Escalade into a fire hydrant in his neighborhood without apparent explanation. He refused to talk with the policemen. Shortly afterward, several women claimed they had extramarital affairs with Tigers. Tiger has remained quiet except for his website posting: “This situation is my fault, and it's obviously embarrassing to my family and me.” His delayed response to any wrongdoing (stopping Enid’s public humiliation) came much too late. In fact, he may not be able to rapidly repair his tarnished image. According to a Gallup poll, his unfavorable rating surged up to 57%, compared to only 8% four years ago.

The Healing Strategy

Public humiliation can heal over time. Public humiliation can be defined as “an action that allows an individual’s personal embarrassment to become publicly known.” Shame is defined as “a strong emotion caused by guilt or disgrace.” Shame is not always bad. For example, children know not to misbehave in public due to the fact that they might embarrass their parents. However, there isn’t much positive that one can say about public humiliation. It is an awful feeling. If the act is done by a loved one, it becomes a tormented burden. Why would anyone do such a thing? To take back one’s integrity from public humiliation requires a great amount of courage. For many people, it takes personal healing that involves moving away from public scrutiny. In fact, a spiritual renewal can assist in the recovery process toward forgiveness. In many cases, celebrities are unwilling to give up the public limelight. Unfortunately, some people can allow this humiliation to chew up their self-worth, thereby becoming a prisoner of their imperfections.

Some folks possess the inner strength to press onward. However, it doesn’t mean the individual forgets the humiliation. Lewis Smedes, author of Forgive & Forget: Healing the Hurts We Don’t Deserve, spent a lifetime understanding how people can forgive others. Yet, he did not underestimate the damage caused to the victim: "You can forgive someone almost anything. But you cannot tolerate everything. . . . We don't have to tolerate what people do just because we forgive them for doing it. Forgiving heals us personally. To tolerate everything only hurts us all in the long run." For example, Jenny Sanford, wife of South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford, filed for divorce after her husband’s affair was revealed – showing that it is possible for a person involved in such a situation to take empowering action.

Conclusion

Getting over public humiliation isn’t an easy process. Today, public apologies are rather common. Many public figures have used the public relations playbook by announcing their transgression with a contrite spirit in hopes of getting the story behind them. Yet, they find it harder to remove the damage done to their victim. In fact, the person who caused the public humiliation does not get off free. In the Scarlett Letter, Dimmesdale’s secret sin haunts him in the form of deterioting health and torment by Hester’s husband. Likewise, Tiger is the center of tabloid news and late night talkshow banter. Many wonder if Enid can overcome her hurt and accept Tiger back, or whether she will choose to move on with her own life. For many individuals who are not in the limelight, they must gather the strength and fight for their integrity and self-worth. Time is still ticking.

NATIONWIDE PROMOTION: Michael Sim earned an instant promotion to the PGA Tour when he won his third Nationwide Tour event. The timing could not have been worse, coming right before the FedEx Cup playoffs.

As a result, Sim played only one time on the PGA Tour, on a sponsor exemption to Turning Stone. The Viking Classic was canceled, and he chose not to play Disney.

Should the rule be changed to create an automatic spot for such players?

Not necessarily.

Biggest Off-course Stories of 2009

The instant promotion is more about the following year than the current year. The payoff for Sim is that he is fully exempt for the 2010 season, meaning he is automatically in The Players Championship and is not subjected to the reshuffle that other Nationwide Tour and Q-school graduates face.

What not give Sim instant status? The tour wants to be sure the current crop of Nationwide/Q-school players have every chance to play an entire season without being bumped by someone who spent most of the year at a lower level.

TOP TEN: Europe uses the world ranking to decide half of its Ryder Cup team – not a player’s ranking, rather how many raw points the player has earned in the year leading to the matches.
That might be the best way to determine which players have had the best year in golf.

Using only points earned in 2009, the top three remain the same – Tiger Woods with 604.54 points, followed by Phil Mickelson at 367.29 and Steve Stricker at 333.57. Lee Westwood (299.54) and Rory McIlroy (283.06) round out the top five.

They are followed by Paul Casey, Jim Furyk, Kenny Perry, Sean O’Hair and Retief Goosen.
This also shows who had a poor season, for only three players in the top 50 failed to earn at least 100 ranking points – Vijay Singh, Ben Curtis and Robert Karlsson, who missed the heart of the season with an eye injury.

DIVOTS: Rory McIlroy plans to make his debut as a PGA Tour member at the Accenture Match Play Championship, with his road to the Masters going through the Honda Classic, Doral and the Houston Open. Also on his schedule are the Quail Hollow Championship and the Memorial. … Tiger Woods lost more world ranking points (485.82) than any other player earned last year. … Six players under 50 took a one-time exemption from career money to keep their PGA Tour card for the 2009 season. Only one of them, Bob Estes, finished inside the top 125 on the money list. The others were Jeff Maggert (128), David Duval (130), Chris DiMarco (135), Tom Lehman (142), who turned 50 in March, and Brad Faxon (221).

STAT OF THE WEEK: Ernie Els failed to win a golf tournament for the first time since 1990.

So ,do you know how to choose Irons for yourself?

How Many Clubs Do I Buy?

This may seem a fairly elementary question but actually there are many options when it comes to deciding exactly which individual clubs you buy. The most common set of irons is from a 3 iron to a pitching wedge (PW). Many better players may choose to buy 2 to 9 iron and leave room to add specialist wedges. The 2 iron will offer them an extra bit of length on their longest iron and another club to use on the tee. A slightly weaker player or older player may decide to choose 5 iron to SW, the reason being that they will leave room for fairway woods and utility clubs in their bag in place of the longer irons, whilst using wedges provided by the set.

Try Before You Buy!

One of the great benefits of buying clubs today, is the option to try clubs and visit demo days. We could not recommend this enough. Just finding the right clubs for you is fine, but unless you actually use them and see how they hit then you may never be sure you are getting the perfect set.

Demo Days

Demo days where manufacturers offer all golfers the chance to try out all their latest equipment and get advice on specifications and any other questions you might have. Some demo days even have custom fitting trucks with computer analysis equipment to analyse you swing and build you a club to order there and then. A list of demo days for all manufacturers can be found in our Demo Day section.

Custom Fitting

Custom fitting is a service offered by all the big manufacturers that has revolutionised many golfer's games. The ability to adapt the specifications of irons to match your size and swing is a very useful method of buying clubs. The average set is designed for a player that is roughly 5 foot 10 inches tall. If you are not exactly this height it is likely that you would benefit from custom fitting.

It involves customising the length of shaft and lie (i.e. the taller you are the longer shaft you will require and you may perhaps need a more upright lie). The shaft stiffness can also be adjusted to suit your swing speed so that the club does not arrive too open or shut at impact. Even the head design can be custom fitted to your swing and desired shots.

Custom fitting will take approximately 30 minutes to do at your local pro shop or golf shop. It will cost you a little more than buying a standard set of clubs but may save you money as you wont need to change set as you will have a set perfectly suited to you (so no excuses!).
