Probability problem: two bags, one bag contains one red ball and one white ball?

One bag contains one white ball and one red ball and another bag holds two white balls. You are handed one bag at random. Reaching in, you pull out a white ball. What's the probability that the other ball in the bag is red?
Before this problem, it describes the Monty hall problem. Are these two linked in a way? Can ther be another way of looking at this problem?

There are four possible outcomes, 2 for each bag -

Bag A (w,r)
White or Red

Bag B
White or white

so, to leave a red ball in the bag, Bag A must be picked. The probability of this is 1/2. Then, the white ball must be picked, again 1/2 probability.

1/2 x 1/2 = 1/4

in other words, there is a 1 in 4 chance of picking Bag a ==> white ball.

So the answer is 1/2 (0.25, or 25%)
